Horse Herd Optimization Algorithm for Fuel Constrained Day-ahead Scheduling of Isolated Nanogrid

چکیده

Day-ahead scheduling of isolated nanogrid (NG) is an important task in power system. Owing to slowly lessening fossil fuel, the profitable use available fuel for electric generation has turn out be extremely concern utilities. This paper suggests horse herd optimization algorithm (HOA) solve constrained day-ahead five neighboring homes. NG comprises diesel generators, solar PV plants, battery energy storage system (BESS) and plug-in vehicles (PEVs). Simulation results test have been compared with those obtained from social group entropy optimization, self-organizing hierarchical particle swarm optimizer time-varying acceleration coefficients, fast convergence evolutionary programming differential evolution. It observed comparison that suggested HOA capacity give better solution.
